"The two Overture courses were a delicious piece of maturing my ministry. I learned about ministry in so many different ways and venues. I watched it happening, heard about plans, rubbed elbows with saints."
(Dr. Debbie Ganus – 2007 Doctor of Ministry Graduate)

There is much to get thankful for this fall. Our 2007 graduating class was BGU’s largest to date. Faculty and Regents from all parts of the world attended the annual planning meeting September 24-28. This was the best attended meeting of these international leaders in the history of the school. We experienced record-breaking growth in our student body in the last 9 months. As far as we can tell, BGU now has the largest Doctor of Ministry (DMin) program in China with approximately 70 students and one of the larger DMin programs in the world with close to 300 students. Yet with this growth come challenges. Fortunately we have a good base of people praying, and we have excellent leadership in our Board of Directors, Regents, faculty, staff and even students who have taken on key projects for us. With growth challenges also come great opportunities to provide financial support for our mission. Please consider where you’d like to invest in equipping transformational leaders for 21st century global cities. . .from scholarships to special projects to where-needed-most support. Then follow the instructions below to make your donation.

And here are some things you can be praying for:

  • Support systems and government relationships in China;
  • Decisions about God’s direction for our growth among many opportunities in Africa, Latin America, and Asia;
  • The final stages of getting our business school approved and accredited.

"If I did not have a scholarship to study at BGU, I would not have been able to enter the Doctor of Ministry program because it would have been too costly for me and my church. The scholarship fund helps BGU help people, like me, from developing countries to receive world- class equipping on how to care for cities. More importantly, that is not the end of the story. BGU students and graduates teach what they have learned, multiplying those who know how to care for their cities."

-Cosmas Ilechukwu (Lagos, Nigeria)-DMin Student
