As you seek to support BGU’s community with prayer, could you please consider these specific requests and bring them up to the Throne of Grace?
- Several students are lagging behind and have had a number of interferences with their academic progress. Could you please PRAY that they have the courage and the needed support to complete their degree?
- We have a few scores of students who are not pursuing their degree for lack of financial means to pay for tuition fees. Some of these students come from very hard contexts like Ethiopia (which is in a state of emergency), recovering from major cataclysms (like in the Carribean region), or recovering for major health or family issues that have taken up all of their financial resources. Could you please PRAY for donors who would be willing to invest in the majority world Christian leaders?
- Please PRAY for our 2018 graduates who are finishing dissertations, have oral reviews, paying balances and finally to have safe travel to Dallas.
- By June 2019, we will need to recruit about 150 new students to replace graduating students and move BGU to a more sustainable level. Could you please PRAY for 150 new students in the upcoming academic year – and help recruit for BGU?
- On Saturday, April 21, at noon/12pm EST, BGU will offer a webinar open to the BGU community on The City, Race and The Gospel led by two of our doctoral program directors. Could you please PRAY for this event – that it produces fruitful reflections in our global cities?
- On Tuesday, April 24, at 11:30am EST, BGU is organizing this term’s Spiritual Convocation. Could you please PRAY for this event – that it be to God’s glory and for the encouragement of our students?
The effectual fervent prayer of the righteous man availeth much. (James 5:16).
