Fundraising is not begging. It is a call to be a disciple-maker, in the realm of money, where many have stubborn strongholds that keep them from growing. Fundraising should never be attempted alone. The first step is to recruit a team of people who pray, edit, resource, write or just encourage. Fundraising is a journey of building trust through improving skills in expressing needs, vision and reporting. Fundraising may start out transactional, but if done well, it can move into a transformational relationship of sustained interdependence in a communion of giving and receiving.
Starting July 6, BGU will offer its unique fundraising course and certificate course (non-degree). This course has been life-changing for leaders as they have experienced a coached journey led by some of the worlds’ leading fundraising experts. Teams are encouraged to attend. This course has been developed for leaders in all types of economies, including non-developed economies and applies to both
non-profit as well as for-profit organizations. The course will not only provide new perspectives on fundraising but will also provide coaching as you improve your organizations message; build your plan and team; and create on-going fundraising capacity for long-term health.
You can register for the course or certificate course by emailing email@example.com or address any questions to firstname.lastname@example.org.
