What If … ?
Those two little words are the stuff dreams and visions are made of. Last February, the Board of Directors and the Regents met to do a bit of “What If’ing” and build a map to the future. During those discussions, the role of BGU’s Alumni Association loomed large. High hopes were put on our alums as we dreamed about those two little words …
What If …
- Regional Alumni strategized together city reaching and even nation transformation?
- Non-Western Alumni built training opportunities to share with church leaders in the West?
- Global Alumni partners worked together to expand the reach of Bakke Graduate University?
- Regional Alumni gathered for local training events and mutual support?
Those two little words could literally change the world. But for these dreams and visions to take root in reality, our graduates and students will need to be intentional in taking the time to build relationships, extend friendships, and raise up local alumni leaders who are willing to network with each other and to build a global partnership.
To help build those networks, the Alumni Association would like to invite you to get active on the BGU Facebook Group “Join the Conversation.” This moderated group has the latest information about what’s coming up, who’s doing what, and how you can be an active part of the BGU Alumni Association.
Brad Smith, President of BGU, has pointed out the BGU isn’t so much of a university as it is a network of well-trained and motivated men and women in ministry. Your Alumni Association is committed to strengthen and expand that network for the betterment of our students, graduates, and the whole BGU community – but we need your support. The Alumni Association meets on the second Wednesdays of each month at 1 PM Pacific on Zoom (528 314 0257) and we’d love to invite you to join us … and help us make these What If’s a reality.
