Cross-Culture, Community Builder, Servant Leadership
For over 30 years Les served the church in Central America, South America, and East and South Asia. He holds a PhD in Educational Studies from Trinity International University, IL. Teaching and mentoring future leaders in international settings has been the constant focus of his ministry, both in formal classroom settings and in church-based, non-formal programs. After leading a church-planting team in Caracas, Venezuela, he chaired the department of intercultural studies at Arizona College of the Bible, finishing his PhD with Dr. Ted Ward at Trinity International University. Les has lectured in 6 continents and directed the Kingdom outreach of 250 missionaries in East and South Asia. Most recently he joined the staff of Compassion International in the Global Staff Development Department, created a bi-vocational missionary training program for Latinos in Quito Ecuador, and developed the Global Engagement Program for Global Mapping International.
His passion is designing and implementing training initiatives with missional and cross-cultural emphases, toward the development of global leaders.
