The purpose of this project is to design a process that transforms consumers of church programs into producers for the kingdom of God. The intended outcome of this project is the development of a program that systematically assimilates people into the church and mobilizes them for meaningful service.
The primary means of achieving the desired results will be through developing, conducting and evaluating a new program entitled “Orientation.” This program will acquaint individuals with the purpose, Biblical beliefs, core values, philosophy, structure, and programs of the church. Coupled with the teaching will be involvement in a process entitled “Networking” that systematically identifies the participants’ spiritual gifts(s), develops a ministry profile for each individual and follows through to place them in meaningful service.
An attendee will be regarded as assimilated when they have completed Orientation and successfully undergone the consulting and placement phases of Networking. This assimilation and mobilization process may take anywhere from several weeks to several months to complete depending on the individual. The process is not complete until the person has signed the membership covenant and actually been mobilized as an active participant in meaningful service.
