This research project seeks to assess and promote a holistic approach to ministry among the African churches in Amsterdam Southeast. The desire to engage in this project was born in my heart as a result of my exposure to the ministries of several transformational leaders in different parts of the world. This exposure to practical ministries of transformation gave me a greater understanding of my studies at Bakke Graduate University. This project utilized biblical, theological, and bibliography research to argue for the holistic mission of the church. The mission of God in the world is holistic. As the creator of the world, God is concerned about every aspect of his creation.

This project conducted a survey of thirty randomly selected African churches, which were represented by their senior pastors, in addition to two case studies done to determine the pastors' understanding and practice of the mission of the church. The result of this research revealed a serious defect in their understanding and practice of mission. A ministry program was developed and utilized to promote holistic approach to mission among the pastors of the selected churches. The participants were taken through a process of transformation that exposed them to several elements of holistic approach to ministry. This project was, however, limited in scope to the African churches in Amsterdam Southeast because of their high concentration in this region of the city.
