The study sought to ascertain the quality of employment experienced by persons with disabilities by examining whether there are untapped advantages for corporations in Jamaica willing to coach, mentor, and develop leadership models that are inclusive of persons with disabilities. In this regard, the study explored the impact of mentoring and coaching and the benefits to the individual and organization. It was discovered that those employees with disabilities in whom the company invested through coaching, mentoring, and leadership development were not only loyal but developed greater confidence and competence and were notable assets to the company. In addition to the positive impact on the organization for their investment in the employee with a disability, is a more beneficial working environment for people with disabilities.
