Philosophy of Ministry

After having been involved in ministry for twenty-one years and having completed eight-and-a-half years of higher education, I thought, 'Why go to a graduate school to get a degree?' Little did I know how rewarding and enriching the journey would be. In looking at the books that have influenced me, the mentors and spiritual experiences that have affected my philosophy of ministry and helped me to grow
spiritually, I clearly see the loving hand of God on my life. This only makes me want to love and know Him more.

This fits in with my life verse in Philippians 3:10 (NKJV), 'that I may know Him and the power of His resurrection, and the fellowship of His sufferings, being conformed to His death, if by any means, I may attain to the resurrection from the dead.' This thesis project and Bakke Graduate University have been greatly used to mold my life and leadership in God's kingdom.

I am extremely thankful to God for all the people He has used to shape and mold my life. In the summer of 1975 the Lord Jesus saved me and changed my life forever. Many books have been used to teach and train me over the last thirty-one years of  my Christian life. But the following twenty-five books have impacted me greatly. In the early years of my Christian walk from 1975 to 1990, the first eleven books listed below served to mold me. These early years built a solid foundation for my life.
