2018 Deadlines

Task

Oct 31Complete a research methodology including your Final Project Proposal draft, which is the final course paper. Also submit names to the Registrar for Final Project Supervisor (FPS) and Second Reader (SR) to be approved by the Academic Cabinet (AC).
Jan 1Request Registrar to send a contract to your FPS and register and pay for Part 1 of the dissertation process (DFP701a or DIS701a).

2019 Deadlines

Jan 15Revise Final Project Proposal draft based on recommendations from your research methodology course professors. Submit the proposal draft to your FPS for recommendations and approval. After approval by your FPS, submit your proposal to the Registrar who will forward to the AC for approval.
Feb 28Write and submit chapter 1 to your FPS for approval.
Apr 30Write and submit chapters 2-3 to your FPS for approval.
Jul 1Submit entire first draft to your FPS for approval. The supervisor should also recommend the need for a writing editor when required.
Jul 15Revise your first draft based on recommendations from your FPS and writing editor (if editing was recommended by supervisor). Then email your Final Project draft to your SR for recommendations and approval.
Aug 30After receiving approvals from your FPS and SR, submit your final draft to the Registrar who will forward to the BGU Director of Doctoral Final Projects (DDFP) for approval. Based on approvals, your final draft will be sent to the BGU Technical Reader.
Sep 30Complete revisions to the final draft based on recommendations from the BGU Technical Reader and send to your FPS for approval.
Oct 15Schedule Oral Review by this date
Oct 30All financial obligations must be paid in full by this date.
Nov 30All course work must be completed
Nov 30Complete your Oral Review by this date.
Dec 10Submit self-evaluation and have your PLC complete Evaluation #3.
Dec 15Send final draft of Final Project to Registrar in Word format for binding
Dec 30Degrees are mailed out by this date

June 6
