Through on-site immersions in the largest cities in 5 continents, students learn firsthand about God’s work in communities of both poverty and power engaging church, government, business, NGO’s, arts/media, and education. Pioneered by Ray Bakke who facilitated immersions in over 500 cities in his lifetime, this immersive learning adventure has been honed and innovated over 4 decades into a unique BGU transformational experience.

As God calls individuals to transform communities, cities, and cultures, God provides them with the gifts, experience, motivations, and opportunities to focus their work on God’s purposes.
